AT 3:02 am...you were born!! Weighing 6lbs 9oz and 19in long!!
You were the cutest little boy I had ever seen!!
I spent hours in awe of you!
I couldnt believe you were here already and how small you were!
I was so excited to teach you how to catch a ball, and kick a ball and read, and write and play with trains and all other kinds of things!
I couldnt wait to show you off to the world!!
Daddy and I took turns holding you and feeding you!!
First Mommy Had a turn....
and then you slept some more!!
And we wat ched you while you slept!
We enjoyed every minute of you!!
Then daddy had a turn to feed you!!
And he enjoyed every minute of it!!
Grandma, Grandpa and Sister Saydi came to see you when you were only a few hours old!
You also got a few phone calls from pop-pop, gram leee, big bird and some of mommies other friends!!
Then it was time to take you home!!!
Mommy and Daddy were super excited!!
Mostly mommy because she was ready to sleep in her own bed!!
Daddy dressed you and posed you for going home pictures!!
He knows mommy well!!
And then it was time to put you in your seat!
Luckily you slept the entire time you were in the seat!
But you matched it that day!! =o)
Once we got you home we wrapped you up and everyone took turns holding you!!
Grandma, mommy and daddy held you for hours!!
We were all so glad you were here!!
Even Saydi was happy that you were here!!
She definitely loved on you!!
This was 3 years ago....
Now today....
You love to play at the park, you love to play with your trains.
Your speech has improved miraculously over the past 6 monthts its amazing!!
Saydi and you are the best of friends!
Watching you grow these past 3 years has been Absolutely amazing and I cant wait to watch you
continue to grow once you start school!!

3 Years Ago Today...
I went into Labor With Ryder Ace!! It started with irregular "pains" in my lower back! About 3pm...I attempted to do the dishes, but I was in sooo much pain i just wanted to cry and hold on to the counter for support! Your sister only 20 months old.kept looking at me like, "Whats wrong Mommy?!" Daddy then called Grandma, and told her that we think it was time for us to go to the hospital since i was in such horrible pain!
Grandma then got home from work about 4:30 pm..and Since I was only about 37 weeks pregnant i hadnt had my hospital bag packed. (unprepared)
I scurried around our bedroom to gather a few things to take to the hospital, BUT boy was I hurting!!
Once again these "pains" werent that regular, but because of how they were making me feel, I thought it was best if we went to the Hospital to get looked at and make sure that everything was ok!!
We arrived at the hospital about 530pm. Where I was then taken into the Labor and Deliever Triage. I was then weighed, and had my blood pressure and temp taken! They then put me in a small room with a curtain so they could check my Cervix and to monitor my contractions and the babys heartrate! They then told me that i was about 1.5 cm dilated and about 60% effaced!
The nurse said that they were going to keep me for about an hour and then they will come back in and check me and determine if they will send me home or not!!
AT about 7pm the nurse came back into the room to check me again..and told me that i was 2.5 cm dilated and about 75% effaced! She then proceeded to tell me, "Well I didnt think you were really in labor, but looks like you will be having a baby really soon!"
We were then moved into our labor and delivery room!! Daddy slept on and and off for a few hours..While mommy watched some t.v. and did some laboring!! By 845pm...Mommy got her epidural and got to Lay on daddys shoulder!!! I will always remember that I received my epidural while watching the Finale of So You Think you can dance threw the Mirror!! =o)
I then labored with you for a few more hours while talking to friends and family across the country!!
I then Fell asleep for a couple of hours and then.......(stay tuned)

Crafty Person Part 1
Last night (8*5*11) Ryder Had open house at his School! One of the things that they gave us was a Yellow folder with our child's name on it! Inside that folder in the Left flab was 3 papers...one was a schedule of when the school will be open and when there wont be any school. Then there was letter from the teacher introducing her self and a list of what they need for the class! And there was also a Calendar of what they will be doing each day in the Class! Then in the Right Flab there was a Red paper cut out that looks like a person that we get to be crafty with and decorate! Attached to the person is a paragraph of instructions of what the teacher is asking!
This morning Saydi, Ryder and I went to Walmart, Michael's and Target to gather some crafty materials so we can decorate his Person! Since Saydi is not in school this year I decided that it would be fun for her to make one as well!! I just traced his person on to some construction paper and cut it out! I even made one for my self!
I set up some cheerios, some yarn, red puffs, apple jacks, macaroni and a few other things!
Ryder Helped pick out where everything goes but I did the Gluing since I knew how messy it would be!! BOY OH BOY did I forget how Messy Elmers Glue was! I was picking glue off my finger tips for a good ten min!! LOL!! Luckily this project of his doesnt need to be turned in until Aug 30th (his first day of School) because he lost his attention once we finished the facial features! But i went ahead and did his hair as well, that way he didnt have to mess with it!!
He then went off to play!! Then Saydi and I decided that we were going to decorate our people!!
first I did my persons head.
I think I may have over done it with the Crazy Long hair, but HEY my hair is about that length!! LOL! Then once I was finished with My Person I helped Saydi with hers!
She kind of looks like Frosty the Snowman with out the Carrot Nose! =o)
Saydi hard at work gluing her hair on her persons Head!!
Then Finally Our Heads are complete!! This was probably one of the funniest things the kids and I have done together in a LONG TIME!
We still need some ideas for the shirt, pants and shoes.

Never Take Anything for Granted!
Hey everyone..I have been very hesitant about sharing this story with to many people, but then I realized that I was just afraid of being Judged as a parent! But all I can say is right now I feel that I need to share this because I really think it will help some one in the long run!! On December 22, 2010 Saydi, Ryder and I spent the Day at my friend Amandas house. Ryder had been up from midnight until 4am that morning and was back up at 7am, he then took a small nap and then we went to our friends house! The Kids played with her youngest son and this picture was taken! ----------------->>>>>
The doctor and nurse then went over what we need to watch for during the night! Mainly for shuttering to make sure he doesn't have seizure! I honestly think that was the LONGEST night of my life! First thing in the morning Ryder woke up about 6am and was trying to tear everything off! he was soo confused at to what was going on! We then let him watch toy story that was on the hospital tv movie channel! About 8 am Ryans parents showed up and told us to go get some Breakfast.so we went and got some food and then stopped in to get Him something from the gift shop!! By 9am Ryder had pulled out his own feeding tube that the nurses said that it was ok for him to not have it in any more since he was hopefully going to be able to eat after his CT Scan!
there is an 11 Hour Gap between these two pictures...almost a completely different kid! By 11 am they were wheeling him to get his CT scan. They had to put him to sleep so that he would stay still long enough for them to do the test! They said that he would probably be asleep for about an hour after the test was finished, but he may take longer! depending on how he acts to the medication! Now since the other tests that they ran the night before came back normal that this test and being cleared for c spine were what was determining when he was getting to go home! His CT scan was normal and he then got cleared for C Spine! By 3:3opm he was told he was allowed to get home!!they allowed him to get dressed and they brought him a wagon that we could take him for a walk in to get him out of the room!
By 5pm December 23, 2010 We were taking our Ryder Man home!!He was the best Christmas Miracle EVER!! I thank the LORD everyday for having that angel watching over us that day!
I just want to add that I am not putting this out there to scare anyone, but I want to advise parent to PLEASE make sure you put your blind cords up some how! It only Takes a few moments to be in the SCARIEST situation EVER! I hope this story will help some parent out there!!
Now looking back a little over 7 months Later....I thank the Lord for that angel and I constantly think what would we have done if the situation had been worse?!?! What ifs.....i know its only human to think what if, but can I for one second think...there is NO need to question something that didnt happen!! I am just GRATEFUL to have my son and my daughter! and though we do have to pay special attention to ryder due to his speech delay..i wouldnt trade them for the world!!
And Ending for a New Beginning!!
This week has been CRAZY busy!! Between finishing up with Ryders therapy, going to therapy myself (and graduating...hehe) , going to another doctors apt for myself, getting ready for his Birthday and getting as much stuff as i can ready for our trip now before it gets to close...i havent really had much time to breath!! Ryder Finished Developmental therapy on Monday and Finished his Speech therapy today!! (8*5*11) Now mind you these are In home sessions! He had Developmental therapy on Mondays from 10:30am-11:30am! Then on Thursdays we were going to a Developmental Play group at our library about 20 min away! But since it is such a drive we had to stop going because of money!! But luckily there is the same play group at the library near us that we will start to attend when we return from vacation. That will be on Mondays at the same time! Then on Fridays He was having speech therapy in home from 10 am til 10:45am. He has now completed his in home therapy!! =0) makes me sooo proud! But starting on August 30th he will be starting Developmental Pre-school! Ryder does not have a medical diagnosis, but the state has given him several evaluations and he has a minor speech delay and a little behind in his fine motor skills! The whole purpose of him going to this preschool program is to help him work on his speech and his social skills towards other children!!Saydi missed the school deadline by 3 months. You have to be 5 by sept 1st and she will not be 5 until dec. 1! so she Will be staying home with me while he is in school!! But I plan on doing things with her as well to help her prepare for kindergarten next year! i cant believe that with in the next year both of my babies will be in school!! it is absolutely crazy how fast time flys!! Even though time goes as fast as it goes I am so great full to be able to have Ryder in this program and to be able to have Saydi home with me for just a little while longer!!
Aug 1
Ok so this morning when i woke up the first thing that popped into my head was, OMG Ryder is going to be 3 in one week!! WOWZERS!! where did the years go?? Then i thought to myself, WOW our vacation is next week!! My mind then started going a million miles per minute because i have a million things to do! need to make lists, need to clean, need to do laundry, and the list goes on!! well on monday mornings we have developmental therapy and today is our last in home session with this therapist!! As much as she has helped Ryder in the past 6 months i am so GLAD its over! (if you are on my facebook you will understand why!)
Since i am new at this blogging thing i am not going to have very long blogs right now! i am going to try to do this like a journal and write a little every day!! some days i may skip..but for now this is my plan!!
